VANOVER, FRANCES LOWE died 16 Nov 2004 Comment
Frances Lowe Vanover, 63, of Huntsville, passed away November 16, 2004, at her home. Born in Scott County, January 7, 1941, she was preceded in death by her parents, Egbert and Evelyn Mason Lowe; two brothers, Carl and Sherwood Lowe; infant sister, Maxine Lowe; and one stepdaughter, Dena Pendley. She was a member of Smokey Creek Baptist Church; and was a loving wife, mother, and mamaw. She loved to cook for her family and cooked for seven years for Huntsville Manor. She is survived by her husband, William Vanover of Huntsville; children: Gail Vanover, David Vanover, and Gary Vanover, all of Smyrna, Tenn., and Tammy Lowe of the Smokey Creek community; stepchildren: Eleanor Best and husband, Gary, of Frederick, Maryland, and William Vanover, Jr. "Billy" and wife, Brenda, of Myersville, Maryland; 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, sisters: Novella Williams and husband, Earl, Novene Fugate and husband, Jesse, Lorene Fugate, Loma and Freddie Rodriquez, and Alene and Phillip Harness; uncle, Earl Lowe and wife, Glennis, of Dayton, Ohio; 12 nephews, eight nieces, special sisters: Mildred Lowe and Linda Lowe; special friends, Bro. Edmon and Elise Lowe, and Tammy Newport; and many other relatives. Funeral service was conducted November 18, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville with Bro. Ronnie Lowe and Bro. Edmon Lowe officiating. Music was provided by the Mason Family and Arnold Burress. Graveside service was conducted November 19, in the Smokey Creek Cemetery.
