MASSENGALE, BRENDA SUE LAWSON died 20 Jun 2007 Comment
Brenda Sue Lawson Massengale, 59, of Huntsville, passed away June 20, at her home. Born in Scott County, April 24, 1948, she was preceded in death by her father, Onvie Lawson; grandparents: Ruth and Gilmerth Crowley and Mike and Florence Lawson; one nephew, Onvie Lee Harness; and one niece, Keisha West. She was a LPN, and an operating room technician; and was a member of First Baptist Church of Huntsville. She is survived by her husband, Ronald "Moose" Massengale of Helenwood; mother, Edith Lawson of Huntsville; one daughter, Carla Sue Lowe and husband, Tony, of Huntsville; one son, David Anthony Harness and wife, Whitney, of Knoxville; two stepsons: John Massengale and wife, Mary, and Justin Massengale, both of Robbins; three grandsons: one step-granddaughter, one brother, Hildred Lawson and wife, Linda, of Texas; two sisters: Virginia Adkins and husband, Phillip, of Huntsville, and Tena West and husband, Mark, of Helenwood; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives. Funeral service was conducted June 22, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville with Bro. Larry Ellis officiating. Music was provided by Keith Massengale. Graveside service was conducted June 23, in the Smokey Creek Cemetery. Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville had charge of arrangements. (Source: The Independent Herald, 28 Jun 2007, pB5)
