| Hattie Stringer, age 43, passed away at her home in Oneida Aug. 12, 1966, after a lengthy illness. She was a member of the Church of God and a lifelong resident of Oneida. Survivors: husband, Carlos Stringer of Oneida; 3 daughters, Peggy Slaten of Xenia, Ohio, Reba Koger and Lisa Ann Stringer of Oneida; 2 sons, Earnest and Leonard Wright of Oneida; 3 brothers, Richard Blevins of Sidney, Fla., Tilden Blevins of Lethia, Fla. and Frank Blevins of Plant City, Fla.; 5 grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted from the Church of God at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. M. L. Woods and Rev. Clarence Slaven officiating. Burial followed in the Carson Cemetery.
